The Aegean Mystery: Prussian fleet snatches unknown bomber before Russians can reach it

In the last two months, five merchant ships flying  were raided in the Aegean sea. Two of the ships have been found as burned out floating wrecks, the other ships were never seen again. Even more disconcerting, not a single soul was ever heard of after their initial distress call and none could identify their attackers.

During an attack on Russian tankers, an unknown bomber crashed, which of course prompted immediate interventions by two fleets...

For the first campaign battle, this mysterious bomber formed the objective. To win the battle, you had to at least keep one unit in point blank range of the bomber in two of the three turns. The Prussians did just that...

For this first battle, we made the classic mistake of not taking any pictures before the end of the battle, so a full battle report would be plain boring.

But the result is clear, with the remnants of the Prussian fleet acquiring a nice asset for their intelligence services.

Better luck next time for the Russian Black Sea fleet? Battleship Sebastopol survived this encounter, but the light cruiser Gorki was quickly overwhelmed by Prussian luftlancers.
