The start of a campaign

As an understatement, it "has been a while" since our gaming club last held a campaign. Yet during an after-game talk, at least (literally) a few gamers expressed their interest for the concept of a narrative campaign. So here it is... Round one of The Aegean Mystery.

For this campaign, we will use an in-house rulesset that uses Spartan Games' (RIP) old Dystopian Wars models to represent the fleets. The rules, which can be considered a beta test at this time, should be well tested by the end of the campaign.

Round One

The first round of the campaign will set the scene and double as a tutorial to the new rules. Fleets will be small: 500 points each. Players will be asked to bring at least one squadron of large, medium and small ships. No flying models for this first session.

For this narrative campaign, the mission will be made told to the commanders at the start of the evening...
