The Aegean Mystery: Prussian fleet snatches unknown bomber before Russians can reach it

In the last two months, five merchant ships flying  were raided in the Aegean sea. Two of the ships have been found as burned out floating wrecks, the other ships were never seen again. Even more disconcerting, not a single soul was ever heard of after their initial distress call and none could identify their attackers.

Dystopian Wars Battle Report - Russian Coalition vs Prussian Empire

My Russian Coalition fleet gained very little experience during the first months of Dystopian Wars 2.0, as I fought my early battles and the Belgian Championship with my RoF fleet.

Recently, my French-Japanese alliance was recently defeated by Ureel's very same Prussian fleet that is featured in this Battle Report. Would the Anglo-Russian fleet be more successful than their Imperial Bond counterparts?

The opening moves of the battle. Only the right flank has seen casualties. The Khatanga moves up and forms a little icy screen.

Our first Dystopian Wars land battles

Recently, we've set foot ashore in Dystopian Wars and played our first air/ground battles. So far, The Polish-Lithuanian Coalition has faced Prussian and Republique of France forces.

The ground battles proved to be even bloodier than the naval battles. The movement is more straightforward, with models using 45° turns and small tanks having the liberty of 360° movement.

Terrain and shielding becomes even more important, aggression is rewarded. We already have a nice variety of forces involved, with Bombards, Metzgers and other robots and medium tanks ranging from bombards to the brutish Orlov tank. The Russian Coalition's Vorkuta Driller proved a very nasty surprise for the Prussians in our first battle.

These ground units were joined by aerial units that we already knew well. Two Sky Fortesses, a Tourbillon, some Zeppelins and Merlin interceptors all featured in the skies above our battlefields.
